We are a small consulting company led by an experienced IT consultant with extensive background in consulting. We are seeking to expand our market share and are looking for a dedicated and reliable System Administrator who is eager to grow with this company and take on new tasks and challenges with the company expanding. You will directly report and work with the director and learn from his experience and connections in the industry.

The expectation is not that you already know how to implement every task.  You will be working with sensitive and business critical systems and be aware of your responsibilities to our clients and this company. You can benefit with the growth of the company and excel into areas of your interest.

With the current COVID situation, you will be starting remotely, while meeting occasionally in our shared office space or at a client location. As system admin, you will have to attend to our client’s offices from time to time to install or fix or review hardware at times, or with guidance of our team.

SKILLS

  • Monitor and responds to service requests.
  • Resolve technical problems with hardware, software and connectivity.
  • Set up and configures user workstations and equipment.
  • Maintain current and accurate inventory of computer hardware, software and resources.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any and all hardware, software and network systems issues
  • Ensuring nightly backup, security, virus protection, and licensed software is in place.
  • Setup and manage user profile accounts
  • Troubleshoot staff issues while maintaining system services within reasonable time.
  • Participate in the configuration and support of internal systems.
  • Support installation and implementation of connectivity and system products.
  • Create functional and technical documentation (Disaster Recovery, Archiving and Backup Plans etc)

 

DEGREE

  • Post-secondary diploma in Computer Systems, Computer Sciences, or related program.
